During this time they have performed their way around the world a few times, filmed over a dozen hit videos and recorded 18 gold award-winning albums - not bad for a couple of Irish boys! The duo started back in 1975, making their living playing small cabaret venues around Ireland. The success of their first hit record in 1978 A Bunch of Thyme took the boys all over the world. Since then, Foster & Allen have gone from strength to strength, releasing more consecutive gold and platinum status albums in the UK than any other artist, a track record which has been beaten so far only by The Rolling Stones.
